Mobilize 2012 LaunchPad
Mobilize 2012, GigaOM’s leading Mobile Web conference, is now accepting LaunchPad nominations for startups looking at the mobile web and mobile technology. LaunchPad is where we show off our selection of the 10 best startups or major product launches to the assembled legion of VCs, angel investors, tech journalists and other conference attendees. But in order for us to find you, we need you to enter! If you think your startup has the right stuff, dust off that executive summary and start filling out the entry form at the link below. Just keep in mind the following:
- We welcome submissions focused directly around the areas of mobile web, mobile technology, mobile infrastructure and mobile apps. This year, we are particularly interested in new ideas in the areas of Intelligent Network Infrastructure, Voice Interfaces and Intelligent Agents, The Internet of Things / Smart Objects and mHealth.
- The startup or idea must be less than 12 months old.
- A working product will launch at Mobilize 2012 for the first time or has been recently launched (with preference given to launches).
- Someone from the company must be able to attend the competition in person.
- Funding status is immaterial but the idea must be considered venture fundable.
The closing date for entries is August 13, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. All entries will be reviewed, but due to the volume of submissions, we advise you to submit your nomination as early as possible. All information submitted in the nomination will be kept confidential, unless your company is selected for the Mobilize 2012 LaunchPad, when you will be announced to the world on August 22, 2012.
